American Military History: A Round Table

The March 2007 Journal of American History contains an extensive review of the state of, and prospects for, American Military History. Wayne Lee of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill kicks off the discussion with a review essay. Several other historians respond; then Wayne has a final word. The issue is available online, but you will need to have access to History Cooperative to read it.
