I’ve moved into high gear with regard to the web site for the November conference on The War for the American South. A statement of the concept and format is online; also information about the discussants, a tentative conference schedule, and a list of preparatory readings. The statement of the concept still needs revision, but at least it gets the basic idea across.
For that matter, I’ve also started to overhaul the WarHistorian site itself. I’ve found the original design to be flashy but not especially easy to update. I’m trying to prevent any broken links during the process, but if one or two fail to work, rest assured I’ll repair them shortly.
